Person centred psychotherapy is a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgement. It can help you understand yourself better, work through difficult emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, or just feeling lost or stuck, online or in person therapy offers the chance for real change and healing.
There’s no “right” reason to start person centred therapy. You might be feeling overwhelmed, struggling with relationships, dealing with loss, or simply wanting to understand yourself better. If you feel stuck, low, anxious, or like you’re carrying a heavy burden alone, therapy could offer you the support and clarity you need.
Each therapy session is a space for you to talk openly about whatever is on your mind. There’s no pressure to have the “right” thing to say, this is your time. I’ll listen without judgement and help you explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll work toward understanding what’s going on for you and finding ways to move forward.
Each session is for 50 minutes. The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some people come for a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others engage in longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and personal growth. We’ll regularly check in and discuss what feels right for you.
Yes, everything you share in therapy is confidential. There are a few legal exceptions, if I believe you or someone else is at risk of serious harm, I may need to break confidentiality, but I would always try to discuss this with you first whenever possible.
Most clients attend weekly sessions, especially at the start, as consistency helps build a safe, trusting relationship. However, we can discuss what feels manageable and tailor the frequency to your needs and schedule.
That’s completely okay. It’s normal to feel unsure at first. There’s no pressure to come in with a clear idea of what to say, starting is often the hardest part. My role is to support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings, even if you’re not sure where to begin.
Finding the right therapist is a personal choice and an important one. The best way to know is by meeting and seeing how you feel during our initial assessment session and over those first actual sessions. Therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and comfortable. If we decide that I’m not the right fit, I’ll do my best to support you in finding someone who is.
I work with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction, bereavement, experiences of discrimination, gender and sexuality, neurodiversity, and feelings of being lost or without purpose. If you’re unsure whether I can help, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss your concerns.
Low cost therapy Session fees range between £50 and £70, depending on your needs and circumstances. I offer flexible options to suit your lifestyle, including online, in-person, and hybrid sessions. We can discuss what works best for you during our initial assessment.
The first step is reaching out, whether by phone, email, or whatsapp. We can arrange an initial complimentary assessment to discuss what brings you to therapy and how best I can support you. From there, we can decide together if moving forward feels right for you.
