It’s important to understand what person-centred therapy is, and isn’t. As a psychotherapist, I offer talk therapy in person or online, providing a safe space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences at your own pace with empathy, acceptance, and respect for your autonomy.
In person-centred therapy, you are seen as the expert of your own life. My role isn’t to offer advice, quick fixes, or tell you how to live your life. Instead, I’m here to support you in finding your own answers, helping you build confidence in your own decisions and inner wisdom.
This is a space where you can speak freely without fear of criticism or judgement. Whatever you’re feeling, anger, sadness, confusion, shame, will be met with empathy and understanding. You deserve to be heard exactly as you are.
You are in control of what you share and when you share it. There’s no pressure to dive into difficult topics until you feel safe and ready. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Person-centred therapy isn’t about diagnosing mental health conditions or fitting you into a category. While I understand how certain experiences, like depression or anxiety, can affect your life, this space is focused on you as a whole person, not a label.
Therapy is a process, and meaningful change often takes time. There’s no magic solution or instant answer, but with patience, empathy, and commitment, real growth and healing are possible.
You set the direction of our work together. I’ll be here to support you, listen, and walk alongside you, but you remain in control of your own healing process. This is your space to find clarity and make choices that feel right for you.
If person cenetred therapy feels like it may be a good fit, then please feel free to reach out.
